Role

As a Video Editor at Mindstorm Studios, you will be responsible for compiling and editing engaging and dynamic video content that elevates our brand across social media, marketing campaigns, and internal initiatives. You will collaborate with creative, social, and people ops teams to deliver compelling visual storytelling.

What will you be doing?

• Videography and content creation skills under creative guidance
• Produce a wide range of animation and motion content for social media, campaigns
• Collaborate with social media executive and People Ops teams to conceptualize daily, series, and brand visual storytelling
• Responsible for day-to-day motion graphic storytelling
• Communicate vision set out by team lead effectively
• Work closely with Ops Team to ensure assets meet technical and aesthetic standards and align with business goals
   

What are we looking for?

• 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing or content creation.
• Experience in editing tools like Filmora, Capcut, After Effects, Premiere or any other tools of your choosing as long as they fit industry standards, you are proficient in it and can create engaging and trendy animations and transitions
• High visual standards, and a strong attention to detail, audience, story, and context
• A portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and video editing work
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout composition
• Strong grasp of editing principles, pacing, visual storytelling, and sound syncing.
• Strong communication and adaptability to feedback
• Experience in motion graphics or simple animations.
• Knowledge of social-first content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Basic color grading and sound design skills.

Things that get you extra points

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• Passion for games, entertainment, and digital content.
